Well, I’m playing with this new thing called Human Click and it’s kind of neat and kind of weird at the same time. Basically it lets me know when someone is visiting my site and gives me an opportunity to ask them if they’d like to chat.
Unfortunately, most folks seem to find it very unnerving and flee instantly. My apologies to the nice visitor from Metacookie. I hope you’ll try again sometime.

[I actually uninstalled it later because it weirded far more people out than it intrigued. It’d be great for a business site though and a reference librarian would always be busy with it. – January 3, 2002]
