You’ve just got to love a piece of spam with a subject line like “Malicious e-mail protection software!” All you need to do is read the first two words and delete the sucker.

Actually it’s trivial to write whatever you want in the To:, From: and other headers. You don’t need any special permission or authentication to send a message appearing to be from and/or to anyone.
Email is like a postcard: wide open and trivially forged. It goes with the territory.
