Been doing it for 20 years, and you’d be amazed how often it saves the day.

I dunno – usually if I’m going to an event like that (say, a baseball game), we’d just have the person who ordered the tickets hold on to them until we got to the event. (Also, that person is usually me, and I’m kinda OCD about remembering tickets and whatnot if I’m going somewhere.)
