Tall Ships

It was beautiful today. My friend B.J. and I went down to have a look at the tall ships visiting the city and wound up sitting on the edge of pier 30 enjoying the lovely weather.

Nice photos of a beautliful ships in a lovely city. I live in another harbour city, Auckland NZ, and can’t imagine living away from the coast.

Does the Balclutha sail still? I saw it at the Hyde St. Pier and a friend has just released a CD with a song about it. I took a photo simply as the name was the same as a kiwi town then found it sailed to NZ so there was a real connection.
