Rinse kale & melt a teaspoon or two of good bacon grease in the pan.


Shred the leaves off the kale stalks into bits in the pan. This takes a while so you'll get a nice mix of some very done pieces and some less so.

Stir every couple minutes until you've got it all shredded in. Then cover it up for a bit, 5 or 10 minutes, I guess. Stir it every 3 or 4 minutes.

When you've got some nice toasty edges on some pieces and the rest is wilted, it's done
